From Sentence Sharks to Reading Rainbowfish, we covered everything from parts of speech and capitalization, to story elements, themes and context clues. After successful completion the students received a certificate and some prizes to remind them of Jesus’s calling for them to be “fishers of men”.

Each team received their top-secret case file, loaded with clues. They read each clue, used their best detective skills to find the word that matched, and identified the digraph in each case – whether it was “ck” or “dge.” The excitement was real as they solved each word mystery one by one! Way to go, super sleuths! You’re all spelling experts!
