Isis Pacheco Velasco
After attending Sts. Peter & Paul since Kindergarten, Isis graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. She then continued her studies at the University of Miami where she graduated Cum Laude with a double major in Political Science/History and a double minor in French/ Business Law. During that time, she served as a Congressional Intern to the Honorable Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. Ms. Pacheco Velasco then attended St. Thomas University College of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor Degree. After graduating from St. Thomas University, Ms. Pacheco Velasco had the distinct honor of serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter T. Fay, Senior Judge for the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Judicial Circuit, which she describes as one of the best experiences of her professional career.
She then continued her studies at the University of Miami, School of Law where she completed an LL.M. in Real Property Development. Ms. Pacheco Velasco is a member of the Florida Bar as well as of various organizations within the South Florida community. She is also on the Board of Advisors for St. Thomas University College of Law and was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Cuban American Bar Association. Currently, she serves as Vice President of Interamerican Bank in Miami, FL, where she works closely with the Board of Directors and handles regulatory and bank-wide insurance matters, among other things.
Paul George Jr.
Paul George, Jr. is a corporate attorney at Stearns Weaver Miller's Miami office. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade and graduated in 2006. Subsequently, he graduated from Immaculata-La Salle High School in Miami. After high school, he attended Florida State University, in which he graduated in 2014 with a degree in accounting and finance. He then graduated from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business in 2015 with a Master's Degree in Accountancy, in which he subsequently worked at Deloitte as a Certified Public Accountant specializing in tax consulting. He later went on to pursue his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School, graduating in 2020, in which he began his career as a corporate lawyer at Holland & Knight LLP in Miami.
Alicia Cuervo-Peñas
Alicia serves as the Corporate Director of Human Resources at Baptist Health South Florida. Her academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Administration, both from Barry University. Additionally, she has attained certifications in Managing Quality Healthcare Systems and Human Resource Administration from Florida International University. Alicia is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and holds credentials as a Certified Professional in Human Resources PHR and as an Executive Coach. Alicia is part of the Board of the Hispanic Business Resource Group at Baptist Health and is a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters. She proudly graduated from SPPS in ’86 as well as her daughters Claudia ‘11 and Sofia ‘17.
Jacquelyn Sidoti
Jacquelyn Sidoti is a Florida educator who has served the greater downtown Miami community for five years. She has taught ESE and has spent majority of her time in a 5th grade general education setting. Mrs.Sidoti has taught ELA, Math and Science and really enjoys finding innovative ways to teach across the curriculum through hands on applications and fostering teamwork. She loves diving into data and learning where her scholars are to truly understand how to close the gap and help them make their learning gains. In addition to teaching, she was a part of creating initiatives at her school such as a house system, scholar campouts and fundraising efforts. She loves to think outside of the box and find new ways to support her scholars. Mrs.Sidoti has also served as a math and science coach and really loved the opportunity to support fellow educators. She excels in finding ways to bring support to classrooms through creating professional developments and coaching.
Her greatest adventure yet is being a mom to her 8-month-old son. She and her family live in Coconut Grove and love spending time outdoors with going on walks, enjoying the ocean and checking out the restaurants in town! She is excited to be a part of St.Peter and Paul’s SAC team!
Nicole Dominguez
Nicole’s career in finance and accounting has spanned almost two decades.She is currently Group Director of Investor Relations at Ryder System, Inc., a FORTUNE 500® transportation and supply chain management solutions company. In this role, Nicole works closely with the Executive Leadership team and various other functions, including Strategy, Finance, Accounting and Treasury to develop clear and consistent communication, as well as foster engagement with the investment community to drive long-term value.
From 2016 to 2022, Nicole led Ryder’s Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis group, supporting the CFO office and reporting directly to the Controller. She was responsible for all aspects of the company’s planning process, including development of annual operating and capital plans, strategic plans, variance analysis, management reporting and financial analysis for Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors.
Nicole joined Ryder in 2011 as a Manager in Corporate Accounting, where she was responsible for global consolidation and internal reporting as well as preparation and review of quarterly SEC filings. Nicole started her career in the audit practice at Deloitte, where she spent six years supporting several accounts, most notably Florida Power & Light, America’s largest electric utility. A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida, she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.
Eric Montes de Oca
Born in New Jersey to Cuban immigrant parents, I was fortunate to be the first in my family to graduate from college. I studied Architecture in Boston before transferring to FIU and graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Prior to starting at FIU, I took classes and graduated from Miami Dade College where I was later (2017) inducted into the MDC Hall of Fame. I am a partner at Grycon, LLC., a General Contractor working in the local South Florida construction market for the past 30-years. I enjoy golfing, skiing, playing/watching mostly any sport and spending time with my family.
Kelvin Gonzalez
Kelvin Gonzalez is a former police officer who dedicated most of his service to a tactical unit specializing in rapid response to high-risk situations. After transitioning from law enforcement, he entered the private sector of the security and protection industry. With over 16 years of experience, Mr. Gonzalez has worked at every level of security, including event security, disaster response, personal protection, state and federal contracting, and VIP protection. He is also a State Certified Safety School Officer, bringing his expertise to educational environments. Currently, Gonzalez runs the operations of his own Security and Protection Agency, maintaining a high level of professionalism and commitment to safety in every aspect of the business.
Erika K. Miranda
Erika K. Miranda is a certified teacher who specializes in exceptional student education. Her career as an educator began with the public school system in 2000 as a high school ESE teacher. During her 20 plus years in education, she’s worked in the classroom as an educator, as well as an ESE program specialist. She has also worked with the private school, and charter school system. While working at specific school sites she was part of the yearbook committee, EESAC, CST/M-team member, and attendance committee. Her areas of certification include Varying Exceptionalities (K-12), Reading Endorsement (K-12), Gifted Endorsement (K-12), and Elementary Education (K-6). Since 2018, her role with the public school system has been as placement specialist, where she works with charter school teams and district staff to facilitate the initial eligibility process for considering ESE, Gifted, and Section 504 plans.
Juan Frank Miranda
Juan Frank Miranda is a Major Crimes Investigator for the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, a State of Florida Agency providing Indigent legal defense in Miami-Dade and Monroe County. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul School from kindergarten through 8th grade graduating in 1987. He served as an altar boy from 4th grade through his graduation. He then attended Christopher Columbus High School and after graduating in 1991 enrolled in Miami Dade Community College/Florida International University, from which he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. Since 1996 he has worked in an investigative capacity on hundreds of local, State, Federal, and International legal matters. He has been a member of Sts. Peter and Paul School’s scouting program since 1980 when he joined as a Cub Scout and while in the program attained the rank of Eagle Scout in 1991. He is currently the Troop Committee Chairman for Pack 575, and Troop 575. He currently sits on the South Florida Council’s Lincoln Marti Camporee advisory committee and is the 2025 acting Campmaster.
